Windows 10: Realtek Audio Console "doesn't support for this machine"

I had been wanting to use an EQ for my headphones and thought, hey, my laptop uses realtek drivers and I used their audio console a while back to change my EQ. Downloaded that from microsoft store and I got the error message "Realtek Audio Console doesn't support for this machine". So I started researching.


I found lots of forums with this same problem and they always suggested downloading generic Realtek drivers that work with that program, so I followed the steps they wrote and behold, it worked. I had decent audio for a bit.


And then my friend called me on discord, where I found out that using the generic Realtek driver basically killed my microphone driver and windows didn't even recognize it. I fixed that by going to windows update and getting the latest version of the Realtek drivers available.


But, I was back at square one. No EQ. The same "Realtek Audio Console doesn't support for this machine" popped up. I tried more things, but to no avail.


I am reaching out for anyone who has found a solution on how to get the Realtek Audio Console working again so this man can get his good audio back.

Realtek Audio Console not working upon pop up selection

I would suggest you refer to the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Step 1. Uninstall Realtek Audio Console.

1. Press the Start Menu and type in Settings and press enter.

2. Navigate to Apps > Apps & features.

3. Scroll down and search for Realtek Audio Console and uninstall.

Step 2. Download & install the Realtek Audio Console.

Step 3. Enable Jack detection when device is plugged in

1. Open Realtek Audio Console.

2. Navigate to 'Device advanced settings'.

3. Toggle on 'Enable Jack detection when device is plugged in'.

4. Restart your computer, and when it boots up, check to see whether or not the problem has been resolved.

Realtek Audio Console messing with headphone connection

There are many driver and audio console updates, you didn't specify where you got them and which version it is.

The latest official one from Microsoft Update Catalog is 6.0.8849.1 realtek audio driver and 11.0.6000.736 realtek software components (which includes 11.0.600.736 realtek audio effects, 1.0.0.220 realtek audio universal service and 11.0.6000.204 realtek
hardware support application). Download them, upzip them and update all FOUR items in the device manager. Run Microsoft Store and you should see your Realtek Audio Console updating to 1.8.204.0.

Laptops also come with other audio enhancements applications like Dolby, DTS, Acer TrueHarmony, Creative SoundBlaster, Nahimic... The list goes on and on. You may have to track down updates for them.

 

RealTek Audio Console is Blank

I own a Dell G3 3590 with Windows 10 Home Edition in it , my Realtek Audio Console appears blank when I open it but still my audio output works fine, and also i can't find Realtek audio manager in Control Panel, I tried updating Realtek driver in Device
Manager and also tried Re-installing Realtek Audio Console App from Microsoft Store but no hope still the Realtek Audio Console Main Screen is Blank . Please help me with a solution. Thanks in advance
