Windows 10: Really high latency but only when gaming. But I have good internet speed.

Laptop MSI GS66 stealthKillerR Wi-Fi6 AX1660i 160MHz Wireless Network Adapter 201NGWIf I load any game at all, my latency becomes very high. If I tab out of the game, everything goes back to normal, but then bad again when I tab back into the game.I have tried changing the firewall settings, clean booting, troubleshooting, updating the drivers, restarting the router, and restarting the network adaptors. I tried resetting the IPconfig in cmd prompt but it said something about the media being disconnected.I have been using this same internet for more than half a year with no issue but sudden

e52 - High Speed internet

I have the same observation, I use t mobile, the 3.5G does not really speed things up. It is even worse than the 3G, so I disabled the high speed internet setting on my e52.



I have a feeling the access to the high speed internet is locked to the USB dongles.

why I think so is that that I have a USB internet dongle that has capacities higher than 3G, but t- mobile does not utilize it,( it is not a branded dongle for t-mobile just using my sim card) but when I put in my sim into my phone it shoes 3.5G but does
not make use of the speed.

So I think it is only when u buy a USB dongle internet package form them that they enable the higher speed.

Maybe if you transfer such a sim to your handset it could use the high speed internet because it was registered already to have that access.

 

Slow upload speed over high latency network and high bandwidth

I am using windows 2012 server, where one of my application is replicating data to DR-node, getting slow upload rate.

I have 2Gbps wan link with high latency around 500ms

looking to tune TCP/IP parameters so i can utilize my complete 2gbps link.

server is not able to send data because of latency it just dropping speed, even i tried to send data using CIFS share but nothing worked

 

E51 latency too high...

There's lot of lag in VOIP calls from Nokia E51.

I tried using skype mobile to skype mobile, Nimbuzz-Nimbuzz calls.. All showed lag.

After doing a bit of research and these tests,

Internet Bandwidth: 8Mbps connection

Bandwidth and latency were recorded from these Websites:

www.mobilespeedtest.com/

www.dslreports.com/mspeed

www.dslreports.com/

More than 10 tests done. File transferred size 100KB and then with 1MB

First tried with Laptop connected in Ethernet:

Speed: Got Around 7.8 Mbps speed

Latency: ~70ms

All below tests done in WiFi.

Laptop:

Speed: 4-4.7 Mbps

Latency: 300-370ms

E51 phone

Speed : ~440kbps

Latency: 770-830ms ( Huge)

Android phone

Speed : 1-1.3Mbps

Latency: around 430ms

Ipod touch 2G

Speed : Around 1Mbps

Latency: around 470ms

Conclusion: Nokia E51 stack has some problem with latency under Wifi.
