Windows 10: Razer Kraken Kitty is not being detected as an audio device

My usb headset is being detected under Human Interface Devices on Device Manager and I am unable to use it as an audio device. I have tried reinstalling the device and reinstalling its software Synapse.

Hello, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

1) Expedite all WIndows Updates from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates . Install all including Optional, watch for prompt for Restart, then go back to check again until no more are offered.

2) Update the Sound controller driver from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads webpage for your exact model. While there compare to make sure you also have the latest BIOS, Chipset, Display, Network and all other drivers.

If no newer then uninstall the Sound controller driver in Device Manager, restart PC to reinstall it.

Next go into Device Manager, right click Sound controller driver to Upgrade driver, then Automatically.

If nothing newer found in Windows Update then try again but this time choose Upgrade Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick to try all previous drivers queued there.

Then do the last three steps for headset and microphone drivers.

Razer Kraken mic not working

Hello.

My mic is not working. The built in mic (Asus notebook) is working fine, but when I plug in the headset mic (Razer Kraken Pro), it's picking up just a little noise, even when it's turned all the way up. I have installed Razer Surround, the playback is working
(through speakers also through the headset).

I have the latest Realtek Audio driver (6.0.1.7571) and also Windows 10 up-to-date. I found out, that when I roll back the Realtek device in Device Manager, the mic on the Razer Kraken is working. But since the Windows 10 updates automatically, Realtek drivers
get updated and the mic is not working again.

Is there any solution for this issue? I tried to find help on the forums, but for most of the time rolling back the device was the solution, but here the Windows's automatic update system is a problem.

dud i got the most bizzare problem my razer kraken headsets are not showing on device manager my headphones work only audio also the mic doesnt work only on my xbox i tryed aloot of tutorials and it doesnt work also deliting hight definiton audio devices on my laptop and restarting my pc doesnt work it doent show on device manager pls someone help i allways have to use my terrible laptop mic xd sorry for bad english
