Windows 10: RAV Endpoint Protection is it real or a malware/scam/fake?

Out of the blue, I got a notification from RAV Endpoint Protection. I looked into it and have signed up, as Norton is getting ridiculously expensive. But looking at the chatter, I am unsure if it is a bonified anti-virus/protection or a scam just 'PRETENDING' to be software. I have only paid for a quarter and used PayPal. I like the program if it does what it says it does. MY WORRY IS COLLECTING MY DATA AND GIVING IT TO SCAMMERS UNDER THE PRETENSE OF BEING AN ANTI-VIRUS ALTERNATIVE TO NORTON 360. Can anyone please advise precisely what this is?

According to your description, your RAV Endpoint Protection no longer works. Please follow the steps below to check if your RAV service is enabled:

1 Search for “Services” in the taskbar and open the Services tab.

2 Find the RAV Endpoint Protection service and make sure it is turned on.

rav endpoint protection

yea and i know for a fact that rav endpoint protection is not included with anything on steam or associated with steam it just randomly appeared on my computer

Is RAV endpoint protection the official program of microsoft? when I start "open application" in the Microsoft antivirus, this RAVendpointProtectio pops up.
