Windows 10: Random rebooting when idling or doing minimal work

Had this issue since a long time ago.Did a some DIY troubleshooting but didn't work here is a list and the dump file121124-9046-01.dmp{1184E168-9720-47B4-8EB5-EA3DE2A28F9F}.png.jpg1. Motherboard replaced2. PSU replaced3. Windows reformatted and updated4. BIOS updated to latest5. Removed ram from 2 to 16. Change cooler7. Temperature at idle is 40 Degrees Celsius for CPU and 38 for GFX8. Removed ASUS Armory Crate and disable auto download from BIOS

Random reboots while idle

Idle forced reboots can be power, PSU, BIOS related, driver, and some other possibilities. But, a lot of stuff happens on idle with computers today that you wouldn't even be aware of. There's even different idle states of the PSU, CPU, etc.

A dump file or anything may not be of much help here unless its a driver maybe. Depending on the issue, even a lot of shops I'd suggest wouldn't figure it out. However, you might as well try what you can: dump file, update BIOS maybe. Anything else starts to get too advanced here, as for example, you could clean install the OS but there's a better more advanced thing to do that you probably have zero experience and understanding of.

Just hope its a driver. It may otherwise be easier to buy a new computer depending on the issue.

 

Random Reboots

I've had, as the title suggests, random reboots for the length of the time since I've built my computer (2 years roughly) and they're completely inexplicable.

It happens under no load, high load, watching movies, listening to music, playing games, browsing the web, sitting by itself in the room when the my sleeping monitor is even saying WTF?!

There aren't any Events to view other than the usual 0xC*D event when the service just shrugs at me.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Maybe someone has had the same problem before and it was just a loose molex connection? I'm baffled.

 

Random Reboots

Hi guys, I hope I can get some help with my issue. I'm getting random reboots with no BSOD. One after another, no rules. Sometimes during the boot and sometimes few minutes after the boot. It happens randomly. Load or idle, it doesn't matter. I cant determine if it's RAM's or Mobo's fault. Thing is, when I enable XPM Profile 1, it sets my Ram speed to 3600Mhz, I get random reboots. I tried one by one stick to each slots and I still get random reboots but maybe not that often. All slots are working and both Ram sticks are working. Next step was to disable XPM profile and RAM speed goes back to 2133Mhz. It looks like that "fixed" the problem. So far, no single reboot, even under the heavy load. But still, there is a problem and I would like to determine what's the issue. Ram or Mobo? I took altimeter to check the power supply, connected Molex connector to it and checked the voltage. It gives me 12 Volts so I guess it's power supply. This system should work just fine with XPM enable because I built another PC with same specs and it's working just fine. Can anyone help me to determine where is the problem, please? Thank you
