    Ralink RT2500 Windows 10 driver


    When I tried to upgrade, Setup said my Ralink RT2500 PCI wireless card was not compatible with Windows 10. I removed it and used a USB wifi stick to install it. Now that Win 10 is running, I thought I might try installing drivers from Windows 7. I tried several versions but it doesn't list any networks available. Has anyone made this card work in Win 10? I have other operating systems installed from XP to Linux Mint and I don't really want to change drivers for all of them along with file sharing and so on.

    Hi, I also have the same Problem on an Asus Motherboard built in Realtek PCi GBe Family Adapter

    and you really have'nt supplied us with an satisfactory answer as there is a little Icon sitting in the

    bottom corner saying windows 10 update is available but network device not compatible -The PC

    is very updated version with an i3 Processor so I doubt it being incompatible unless windows 10

    does not like Realtek Hardware.

    Also I have and Ralink RT2500 Wireless Card Installed both are working Extremely well on the Windows 7

    setup I have at the moment could that be the culprit ?.

    is it normal for windows update in windows 10 to download updated drivers for uninstalled devices?

    recently i unistalled a ralink rt61 wifi card because it kept causing windows 10 64 bit to crash and now i'm running a linksys usb wifi adapter that works on windows 10.

    i did remove the ralink rt61 drivers before i removed the card itself and today windows update downloaded and installed a updated driver for the ralink card, is this normal for windows 10 windows update or should i be concerned??
