Windows 10: Quick scan in windows 11 S mode/ cloud delivered protection and automatic sample submission.

I hope someone out there can put my mind at rest. I have a 6 months' old Asus laptop. I have downloaded successfully Windows 11 S mode. However, too often I am asked to run a quick virus and protection scan, which takes forever. I always manually check Windows update. Is my laptop at risk if I browse the Internet safely by doing for example online banking even though I am told that Windows needs a scan?Secondly, in my protection options, the Cloud delivered protection and the automatic sample submission are both turned on but there is a yellow warning triangle saying that they are off. Cloud-delivered protection

Hello all! I was curious as to what personal information is collected about me, if I turn on the 'cloud-delivered protection' in Windows defender security center? I have read the 'privacy statement' multiple times. I have already 'removed', if you will,
any and all allowed shareable content. I guess my question boils down to: Will any additional private data be submitted? If I activate the 'cloud-delivered protection', will it automatically turn on some of the aforementioned settings I have intentionally
turned off?

Also, the Windows defender security center (Under the virus & threat protection settings tab) says that the cloud-delivered protection "Works best with Automatic sample submission turned on". I have zero intentions of turning the automatic sample submission
on.

It is my understanding, from their 'privacy statement', that Windows will get my data with or without my consent, if they really want it. I would really appreciate any feedback from those who have enabled this 'cloud-delivered protection', and if any of
their settings have been automatically changed by Windows?

Any advice will be good advice.

Automatic Sample submission

The problem haven't fixed, I cannot turn enable Automatic samples submission and Cloud -delivered protection, too

 

Windows Defender - "Actions recommended" - but what are they???

I've spent months on this problem. This finally worked for me ...

• In the system tray, right-click the Windows Security icon and choose "View security dashboard"
• Click "Virus & threat protection"
• Under "Virus & threat protection settings", choose "Manage settings"
• *Temporarily* switch off "Cloud-delivered protection" and "Automatic sample submission"
• Click "Yes" on the User Account Control prompt to confirm each change
• Click "Dismiss" under "Cloud-delivered protection" and "Automatic sample submission"
• The green icon should return
• Now turn on "Cloud-delivered protection" and "Automatic sample submission"
• Click "Yes" on the User Account Control prompt
• Now choose "Virus & threat protection" and run a Quick scan to be sure you were not compromised by momentarily switching off "Cloud-delivered protection" and "Automatic sample submission"
