  1. Processor Isnt supported for Windows 11 but it is on the approved CPU List

HelloI was checking my PC's eligibility for Windows 11 and everything is eligible or can be enabled to meet requirements, except it registers my processer as ineligible. After looking at the approved processors, I noticed my processor is listed, so I am confused as to why the PC Health check does not deem it as eligible. My process is the AMD FX 6300 - 6 Core processor, which is on this list: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-10-1607-supported-amd-processors Please advise how to fix this situation, so the PC health check app correctly iden

    :)

  2. Windows 11 not accepting my Athalon 3000G processor which is an approved cpu

I upgraded my motherboard, CPU and memory to meet the requirements based on Windows 11 approved list yet windows 10, PC Health Check and installing manually per Microsoft supports suggestions doesn't recognize my AMD Athlon 3000G processor as an approved CPU. Has Microsoft provided a fix for this yet? Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Windows 11 Approved processor list

    Hi

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the rules are for being on the 'Approved List' of processors to download Windows 11 via Windows Update.

According to Microsoft, the minimum requirements are:

    - 1 Ghz

    - 4GB RAM

    - 2 cores

    - being on approved list of CPUs

    My laptop easily meets this:

    -Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4712HQ CPU 2.30Ghz

    -4 cores

    - 8 logical processors

    - i7-4712HW 2.3ghz

    - 16 GB RAM

    But because

    - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4712HQ CPU 2.30Ghz

isn't on the 'approved list' I can't download it via Windows update. I know there are various registry changes you can make that apparently bypass this check, but is there a real technical reason for excluding some Intel Core i7 processors or is it a bug? I can't see why my laptop can't run Windows 11?!!

    Thanks

    Pete

  4. Processor Isnt supported for Windows 11 but it is on the approved CPU List

Windows 11 Upgrade - PC Heath Check says no to the processor but my processor is listed on the approved CPU list?

    Microsoft Community,

    Afternoon and Happy Fri-YAY!

Had a question on trying to upgrade a Windows 10 All In One PC to Windows 11. PC Health Check says "The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11." then it lists my processor as Intel Core i7-7700T CPU @ 2.90GHz. I checked in About Your PC and confirmed my processor is the i7-7700T listed by PC Health Check.

Initially disappointed I checked further at the Microsoft website and my processor is listed on the approved list. So I got a little excited.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is this a question of a bad approved list or the PC Health Check incorrectly determining my processor does not qualify?

Here are all the stats on this computer.

    Device Specifications:

    Device - HP-Envy All-In-One

    Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 2.90GHz

    Installed RAM - 16.0GB

System Type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Windows Specifications:

    Edition - Windows 10 Home

    Version - 22H2

    Installed on - 09/11/2020

    OS Build - 19045.4651

Experience - Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0

Thank you in advance for the help. My fingers crossed there will be a "Meh.. Don't worry about PC Health Check. Push forward and install Windows 11 Pro" consensus haha.

Thank you for the help and information everyone!
