Windows 10: Problems with realtek rtl8852ae main network keeps on disconnecting

Hi,On my HP laptop I have this main problem with realtek rtl8852ae where I'm connected to my main internet and it randomly disconnects and I cannot connect back to it. It used to take restarts for me to reconnect to my 5G internet but now it doesn't work I tried many solutions to fix this problem. I'm pretty sure others have this same problem with realtek rtl8852ae on HP laptops.

Network Disconnect Problem

At this point, I suggest you to disable the power management option for the network adapter and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Please follow the below suggested steps and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager from the menu to change the .
• Next, to disable the setting for power management settings, expand Network Adapters, right-click on the adapter, click
  Properties, click the Power Management tab, and then clear the
  Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box.

How to Dump Networking Parameters?


Had a customer with this problem, they had a brand new Dell Optiplex 3050, with Windows 10 1709, and Realtek Gbit Family of lan adapters (wired connection). After much troubleshooting (many suggestions listed in the course of this thread), it turned out the PC needed a bios update. Among the updates listed on the dell website for bios version 1.52 (I flashed it with the latest 1.92) was "Update RealtekLOM".

LOM is "lan on motherboard" and the Realtek has flashable firmware.

One step for others having this issue is to check their computer manufacturer's website for "Lom" firmware updates for the particular network adapter - whether integrated or an add-in.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Network Troubleshooter and check, if this helps.

• In the search box, type ‘Troubleshooter’, and then click ‘Troubleshooting’.
• Under ‘Network and Internet’, click ‘Internet Connections’
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: Update Network Adapter.

• 
  Right click on Start button, type
  Device Manager and Enter.
  
• 
  Now click on your Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right click and click on
  Properties, and go to Driver tab and click on Update driver.
