Windows 10: problems with my cpu speed and performance after windows 24h2 update.

Just did a clean install off windows 24h2 and for some reason my cpu wont run at its full speed anymore. i use fixed frequency in bios 5300 for p cores and 4300 for ecores. windows says that the ground speed for my cpu is 3.4ghz. things i have tried to solve the problem: - downloaded windows 24h2 trough iso,media instalation tool,from my computer, and installed the windows24h2 repair update. - idle disabled in powerplan. - Tried all the different powerplans. -windows update, iobit driver updater pro version and even armoury crate to update to the latest drivers, also tried downloading chipse

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

 

CPU speed much lower than base speed

My computer has been slow for quite a while now even while performing basic tasks such as web browsing (to the point where simply typing into a search bar can take several seconds before the computer shows me that I've typed anything) and I've finally gotten around to trying to search for a solution. I noticed that the speed listed on the performance tab of task manager is significantly lower than the base speed listed there (0.78GHz vs 2.59GHz) See here I suspect that this may be largely what is causing my problems.

I have tried the following things to bring this speed closer to my base speed:

• Moving the power management slider to "Best performance" See here
  
• Increased the minimum processor state when plugged in to 100% See here
  
• Turned off Speedstep in my Bios (which is described in the BIOS as forcing my CPU into its maximum performance mode
  
• Turned off C-states in my BIOS which is described in the BIOS as allowing the processor to be put in other performance modes
  

Notably I have been trying the fixes recommended in this thread: Maximum Processor Speed Lower Than It Should Be

Any advice on steps I can take short of reinstalling Windows is greatly appreciated!

8.00GB RAM

Problem with pc performance

Thanks just going to try those steps, the router ok as iPad DL speed really high, but I did try that anyway, thanks - - - Updated - - - Did everything as suggested, web pages open really fast now, but DL speed 17MB much better but not as high as before, will download windows image file and do a windows repair keeping apps and files Any other suggestions
