Windows 10: Problems up grading M2 128 GB ssd to M2 1 TB ssd

All ready have Win 11 installed on a M2 128 GB ssd in computer. The computer came with Win 10 and recently upgraded to Win 11. There are a couple of program problems with the 128 GB drive so I don't want to migrate them to new drive. I downloaded a paid copy of Win 11 from Microsoft to a USB connected 1 TB ssd. I couldn't boot from D:, can only boot from 128gb when installed in computer. Boot order should have allowed me to boot from 128GB connected to USB, and 1 TB installed in computer but didn't work. With 128 GB installed, will boot up. 1 TB connected by USB and can go to it with file ex

Migration from Hdd to m2.SSD

Recently I have purchased a new laptop (hp probook 450 G4) and a new original windows 10 home edition and now I want to upgrade my 1 TB Hdd to a new m2 ssd and my laptop supports another slot for the m2 ssd so I can run both
the m2 ssd & hdd at the same time but I will make the m2 ssd the boot drive and the hdd will be the data drive.
MY Question is how can I migrate system drive to the new m2 ssd without the need to reinstall windows or any other installed programs and there is another thing, when I checked the disk management I found 3 recovery partitions will I have to
migrate them too or I have to migrate the system drive only

 

M2 NVME SSD

So you think it truly is worth it to have windows installed on an M2 NVME SSD instead of installing it on a sata-600 ssd and installing your most important software on the M2 NVME SSD ?

OS: Windows 11

SSD: Western Digital 2TB

Windows won’t recognize me M2 SSD and I’m not sure why, I went to disk management and nothing. I went to the BIOS and it’s not showing there either. I used the cmd tool and put in the command’ disk list’, to no avail. Everything is tight and secure but nothing is popping up. Please advise.
