    Hi, help please?I have a newly formatted HDD for my HP G62 laptop and want to install Win 10. I downloaded the Win 10 MediaCreationTool_22H2, ran this and created a bootable USB mem stick. or so I thought….. I changed the boot order in BIOS it recognised the USB stick name. On starting up, with the stick in place on my laptop it seems to start working, Windows logo and then “ a problem with your device – we will restart etc” if I do Ctrl/Alt Del, it restarts but states “BOOTMRG is missing”. So, plan 2…I assumed that maybe the bootable USB stick was corrupted, so created a bootable DVD wi

    Fresh Install of Win 10 without Serial Key?

    Looking to reformat a laptops HDD, and then reinstall Win 10 fresh. The problem is it came pre-installed with Win 8 and I did the free upgrade to Win 10. How exactly would I re-format the HDD, reinstall Win 10 and ensure it reactivates properly? I don't see a Win 8 serial key anywhere in the contents of the box.

    No format option for new Vista install?

    After the disk is in and it does it's thing for a while, you will get a screen with your HDD's listed on it. Select the HDD that you want to install Vista on and format it. Then continue to install Vista on that HDD.

    My hard drive is clogged with a lot of old stuff; I want to reformat the drive.

    Question: how do I get a recovery / boot format for my new Win 10 installation?
