Windows 10: Problems installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime

trying to install a game through steam that keeps poping up every time i start the game it is trying to install the microsoft visual redistributeables or somthing like that but it cant find the installation package.ive been looking for a solution for a couple of hours now cant seem to find one that works.*verifing files through steam*controll panal uninstalling all the c++ redis doesnt help*microsoft troubleshoot uninstallling doesnt help*doing regedit.exe in the run and finding the folder or msi to uninstall doesnt seems to work**also visitedhttps://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-visual-c-plus-

Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 failure to install

I've been trying to install Visual C++ 2015-2019 x64 for some time now but every time I try no matter what I do I get the error the older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 minimum runtime 14.24.28127 can not be removed

I also get told that it can't find the path to vc_runtimeMinimum_x64.msi again this is for visual c++ 2019 x64 part.

 

Trouble installing latest x64 version of MS Visual C++ redist

I've tried to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. The x64 version will not install. two error messages are thrown up. Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x64 Minimum Runtime 14.16.27024 is needed and missing and invites
me to find the software on a CD which I don't have.. Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 Minimum Runtime 14.27.29016 cannot be removed. (However the latter does not appear in Apps). Any advice on how to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Firstly, I found no changes were needed regarding your first paragraph on virtual memory.
The checkbox beside: ‘Automatically manage paging file size for all drives’ was already ticked.

Next, I successfully installed x86: vc redist.x86.exe but could not install x64: vc redist.v64.exe.



The first error window was headed: Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime – 14.20.27508

{03EBF679-E886-38AD-8E70-28658449F7F9}v14.14.26429 does not appear in the list in ProgramData/Package Cache on my computer.

The last error window that appeared stated: ‘The older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime – 14.20.27508 cannot be removed’

I retried installing x64: vc redist.v64.exe in Clean Boot mode but had the same error messages.



I have not attempted to go any further in your list of recommended actions.
Any ideas please?
