Windows 10: problem with logging in methods

This is the second Microsoft laptop I have had in the past year because it just stopped working and for both laptops, I have not been able to use the facial recognition for either of them. Is there some requirement I need or is it just a problem? The same thing has happened with fingerprint recognition. At first on both laptops, it was fine, but it suddenly stopped working. My laptops were the Windows 11 2 in 1 14" and the Windows 11 Surface laptop Go 3. This isn't related, but whenever I play games on the windows 11 surface laptop go 3, it's buggy and laggy. Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
