Windows 10: Problem in personalising high contrast theme in windows 10

I have activated high contrast theme in my windows 10 home version, with custom settings of white text, yellow hyperlinks, green disabled text, white colour of selected text with dark grey background, white text with black background of button, and black background. I am fine with the colour combination otherwise, but the problem arising is that if I am using ctrl + F to find a word in browser, notepad, etc. then it is giving the background colour of selected text dark grey, which is not distinguishable with black background.Now if I change the background colour of selected text then to say,

Personalised High Contrastr theme not reloading on restart

After the win 10 pro 17134 update, everytime i start the PC, it loads my high contrast personalised theme that i created

for a brief second initially on start up, and then switches to the standard high contrast theme.

Basically i cant get the personalised high contrast theme to stay "put". I need to manually reload it from the "personalisation settings" every start up.

The personalised theme is "saved" as a file in settings/personalisation ok, it just doesnt load and stay on start up.

I even re created and saved the personalised theme from scratch , but same result.. it gets wiped away and reset to the standard high contrast theme

on restart.

How do i get the personalised theme to "stay put" on start up. As i said it boots with it for a second, but reverts to the standard high contrast theme every time.

Which Is the latest build installed in your computer?

To check the latest build installed in your computer
Press Windows key + R and type winver.

Follow the Methods below and check.

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Press “Windows + U” to open
ease of access center.

2. Select Set up High contrast and customize as you required.

Method 2: Please follow the steps mentioned below:

• Right click on the desktop and select Personalize.
• Select Themes and click on Themes settings.
• Select any Windows default theme and check with the issue.

High Contrast Theme Problem

It's different themes by Ten Forums members. There are four types 1) Aero(windows default), 2) Aero Lite(added color to the Title bars when it wasn't supported), 3) High Contrast, and 4) Aero Hybrid(a mix of Aero and High Contrast using registry setting, but it doesn't effect File Explorer and control Panel, but does effect web sites that use system color settings).

The first page has an Excel sheet listing with short descriptions of each theme and links to them in the thread, as the thread has grown pretty large(170 pages!).

Maybe you can find a High Contrast that works for you. Some of the best HC themes are from @Edwin.
