Windows 10: Printer is offline but it isn't

I have 6 computers in this house. 5 of them are able to find and install a networked laser printer. One is not. But that one was able to print yesterday. Nothing has changed between then and now.I deleted it, intending to reinstall. Windows searches for printers and doesn't find them. I entered the IP address of my printer and it STILL can't find it. And what happened to the "Have disk" option? I've got the correct .inf file but can't seem to do anything with it.I'm sure this is supposed to "streamline" the printer experience, but please, please Microsoft, please, for god's sake stop helping m

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Managed to solve it... here´s how I did it just in case anyone else has the same problem...

->Settings

->Printers & scanners

->Add a printer or scanner

->The printer that I want isn´t listed

->Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings

->Use an existing port: USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB)

->Choose printer

->Use the driver that is currently installed

->Type printer name

And done... =P

 

HP Printer shows Offline

However, please let us know:

• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  
• Which build version of Windows is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  

I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the HP article
