Windows 10: Print Spooler Not Responding since Jan 11 Windows 11 22H2 Cumulative Update

Hi Community,Just ran the windows update and now can't print on any printer.Windows 11 22H2Pro 64 bitUpdate: 2023-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H@ for x64-based Systems KB5022303No error message, all printers have disappeared, all apps that use printing, word etc go non-responsive when trying to print or even change document settings. Restarting the print service doesn't help. When print service is stopped all printers re-appear, as soon as the service starts the printers disappear and Printers in Settings/Control Panel even to display the list on screen it freezes.Have trie

I had this print issue, related to Printer Spooler, with my Brother printer for a few months.

Just about I wanted to do some shouting here, Windows Update came with 2022-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5014697) this morning.

I am able to print now.

I hope the fix lasts.

Print Spooler Issue

For step by step instructions on how you can manually start the Print Spooler Service, follow these:

• Click Windows tab.
• Type Control Panel > System and Maintenance
  > Administrative Tools.
• Double click Services.
• Right click to the Print Spooler service > Properties.

However, we suggest you can refer to an answer given by Prabhavathi Patil on this

thread.

We also recommend that you update the driver for your printer.

Print Spooler Service won't stay running - Windows 11

We have exactly the same problem.

We’ve been through all the steps proposed on the various postings on this problem, even down to completely reinstalling Windows 11 using the downloadable media creation tool (retaining files and apps). We’ve still got the problem. Manually restarting the print spooler can occasionally allow a test page to print, but the next attempt fails and the Services app shows the print spooler has stopped again.

Help, please.
