Windows 10: Print in color option missing from Word

Within the last few days, the print color option has been removed from the printer settings in Word. I have looked everywhere, uploaded revisions, restarted, and still not there.

I would suggest the following steps:

In Word, click on "File" - "Options".

Click on "Display" - Select the box which says "Print background colors and images".

Click Ok to save the settings and then try to print.

As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to open the Print dialog box in Windows to access the settings for color profiles used in printer.

• Use the keyboard shortcuts Windows Logo + R to open the Run Command Dialog box
• Type in the command: shellrintersFolder
• Right-clicking on the printer and open the printer preferences, where you can choose options such as paper size and layout.

  Select Print color which gives you options for Color or black-and-white (grayscale) prints.

document not printing in color in word

created a word doc and set it to print in color. only prints in grayscale. tried two different computers. new color cartridge.
