Windows 10: Power save mode turns off monitors but they immediately come back on

Power save mode turns off my monitors but they immediately turn back on. This problem used to be caused by my razer tartarus being recognized as a video game controller but now the problem happens with it unplugged. The computer waking itself from power save mode prevents it from updating automatically and I'd like to figure out what the problem is.

Monitors go into auto power save mode and wont wake up

Thanks for the suggestions. I have no idea why the computer monitors go into power saving mode. The computer doesn't. I can be browsing the internet (or even playing CandyCrush haha) more or less right after booting up and the monitors go to sleep. I
can not wake them up. I have to turn the PC off and back on again. Not so good if I am doing some work.

Making any changes as you suggest above don't seem to do anything, there is only the mouse, keyboard and "NVIDIA nForce networking controller" listed.

 

Monitor going into power save mode

Well i've had it in safe mode for several hours and I have seen no restarts or crashes in safe mode. I then started in normal mode and within 30 minutes it just randomly comes up on the monitor entering power save mode shortly and goes black. What does
this mean if it is only happening in normal mode and not safe mode?

 

New Lenovo monitors wont turn on; low power mode turns on and screens go black.

• What is the complete model number of the Lenovo monitor?
  
• How are the monitors connected to the computer?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• How are you turning on low power mode?
  

Please reply with more information on the issue to assist you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps.
