  1. Power Mode automatically keeps changing to "High Performance" in Windows 11

So about 2-3 weeks ago I updated to Windows 11 Insider Build 22622.436, and I guess ever since then, the computer randomly switches its power plan automatically to High-Performance Mode. Immediately, the display maxes out on brightness, and I can't revert the power plan via the settings app. The only way I can do it is by heading to the control panel and power options, where I'll have to change to balanced. But the most annoying problem with this defect is that the laptop never goes into sleep mode, even when I close the lid or, click on "Sleep" in the power menu.I have no idea if it has somet

  2. power mode can't be set while the high performance power plan is used

I cannot change the power mode because I get this message...... power mode can't be set while the high performance power plan is used.
The problem is there is nothing I have been able to do to even find a "high performance power plan" or how to turn it off. The final mission is trying to change this laptop so I can close the screen while keeping the external monitor on. Clicking the "power mode" does nothing.

This is a laptop with win 11

  3. High Performance Power Plan Disappeared

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I changed my power plan to "Balanced" just to try it out and when I went back into Control Panel to change it back to "High Performance", it was not there anymore. I tried a lot of suggested fixes that are on the internet but none of them worked. I also tried creating my own power plan and chaning the settings but its just not the same performance as the High Performance power plan. Is there any way to bring it back?
