Power Beats Pro not being recognized as audio device when connected via Bluetooth.

The other day when I tried to connect my Power Beats Pro earbuds to my laptop, I couldn't hear audio in them. I was able to connect to the earbuds and hear audio in them previously but now I'm unable to figure out how to get it working again. I've done a bunch of searches and tried a bunch of fixes, including all the ones here: Wireless Beats headphones not recognized as audio output - Microsoft Community. My issue is that the earbuds still connect, but no matter what I do I can't seem to get my laptop to recognize them as an audio or music device. Previously when I connected my earbuds to the

How to get a paired, connected Bluetooth headset to be recognized as an audio device?

This happens on an Asus ROG G551JW computer. I got a Samsung Level U headset. I can get it paired via Bluetooth, but it's not recognized as a sound device: it doesn't appear in sound device lists, I can't control its volume nor make the system output the sound via the headset.

    Relevant System Information:

    • Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
    • Intel Bluetooth Driver version 19: Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) driver version 19.x.x.x
    • Notification center -> Connect displays Samsung Level U as Paired, but when attempting to Connect to it, it displays "Couldn't Connect".

    • Power-cycling the headset changes its state to (presumably) connected, and the "Disconnect" button appears. But still: there are no audio devices available.

Beats Studio Pro can only connect Audio to Windows 11 PC. The microphone is only recognized when plugged in via USB C. Is there a way to have both audio and voice connected wirelessly via bluetooth?

Hello, I'm Jan, and I'm happy to help you today. Wireless bluetooth connection and USB type C are using different drivers. Most likely there is a problem with the headphone's wireless drivers or sound input settings configuration. Please try each method below to troubleshoot the Beats Studio Pro headphone's wireless problem.

    1. Search "Bluetooth"

Select "Bluetooth and other devices settings"

from the list select your Beats Studio Pro

    Click Remove device

    Press Yes.

    2. Search Device Manager

    Open Device Manager

    Click on "View"

    Check "Show hidden devices"

    Expand Bluetooth

Then right-click on your Bluetooth device

Then uninstall All the drivers related to your Beats Studio Pro

    Restart your computer.

Then try to pair again your Beats Studio Pro

    3. Search Bluetooth

From the list "Bluetooth and Other Device Settings"

Scroll Down then under "Related Settings"

Select and click "More Device and Printer Settings"

    Right-click on your Beats Headphone

    then select properties

    and click the services tab.

then put a check on all the features under the Bluetooth services.

    click apply then ok.

    4. If that doesn't work, check the sound output and input settings.

Type and search for Sound settings

Then click sound settings to open

Make sure Beats Studio Pro headset is selected as your output and input device.

Beats Studio Pro can only connect 'Audio' to Windows 11 PC. The microphone/headset is only recognized when plugged in via USB C. Is there a way to have both audio and voice connected wirelessly via bluetooth?

The whole point of wireless headphones/headset is to not have to use a USB-C wire.
