    Hello,i have a problem on my new thinkpad e15 gen4 . When ever a sound occurs and it ends there is something like a pop, silent but noticable, that occures. I tried updating my drivers changing settings but nothing has helped yet. A thing that I have recognized, was that i can't find this folder in the registery editor:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtek\RAVCpl64\PowerMgntso PowerMgnt is missing, maybe thats the problem

    Windows 10 popping sound in speakers

    Hi,

    I have the exact same issue and I went through all the steps suggested above but none of them helped. I get the popping sound when any kind of audio is on. Even when external speakers or headphones are plugged in.

    Do you have any other suggestions what to do?

    Sound Quality

    One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

    May not be a speaker problem.

    Fast popping sound from speakers

    My sound seems to be operating okay, albeit with some loss of fidelity (I think). But with no sound or volume I get a Fast popping sound from speakers. The popping is low level, but it's annoying like a dripping faucet.

    How do I troubleshoot and turn it off?
