Windows 10: Pointing device missing from Device Manager

Discus and support Pointing device missing from Device Manager in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Recently i bought an USB Laser Presenter, but for some reason it wasn't connecting to mi pc.     Pointing device missing from Device Manager


    Recently i bought an USB Laser Presenter, but for some reason it wasn't connecting to mi pc. When i went to Device Manager i saw that it's not even there, meaning that my pc does'nt even recognize it. So i came to the conclusion that either there's something wrong with my usb port which i doubt, because it recognize other devices or i need to install the driver for the pointing device which was supposed to download automatically and which i don't seem to find anywhere on the internetHow can I fix this?

    Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

    Hi,

    Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager.
    • Click on View and select
      Show Hidden Devices.
    • Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
    • If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
      Update Driver Software
    • Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.
    Please post back with the result for further assistance

    No hardware listed in Device manager?

    I don't konw whathappend but in Device manager and in my Network connections there is nothing where there used to be a Modem listed and all my hardware in Device Manager. What happend and how do I fix this?

    Pointing device missing from Device Manager

    synaptics Pointing Device Driver

    Try Uninstalling your device first, restart and then Install again.

    Step 1:

    • Open device manager by right clicking This PC and select Manage. On the left pane, click the same.
    • Under Mouse and pointing devices, right click the synaptics driver and click Uninstall.
    Step 2:

    Restart when prompted. Remember, Restart!

    Step 3:

    Install the synaptics driver again using the setup utility provided by the manufacturer
