    When I opened computer it warned me my computer is infected with Trojan virus

    Hi. When I opened my laptop there was immediate warning that my computer has been infected with Trojan. And it told me to call Microsoft support the number they told me to call is 1877-884-6292. Is this legit?

    That warning was a scam. The 877 number will connect you to scammers. They will resolve imaginary problems and charge you (probably) several hundred dollars.

    Trojan Horse warning from Microsoft?

    Received message that, due to a Trojan Horse, my computer was locked. Against their warning, I turned off computer and didn't find a warning in Microsoft Security. Is this a scam, or from Microsoft as claimed?
