Windows 10: Pinnacle Dazzle software issue

I had been running Dazzle 23.2.4.120 on Windows 10 for 2 years without any issues. However, lately, the video capture audio has a crackling noise and is at places, unintelligible. Fortunately, I had a good backup image which saved my neck. But, I really would like to know what exactly has changed. Obviously, the unchangeable CD software and my hardware are not the culprits. The finger points to Windows updates. Currently, my Windows version is at 10.0.19044.1889. Anybody else having this issue with a solution? TIA.

Dazzle 90 No Drivers available

Very important:

1- Only the manufacturer of hardware can write a driver for their hardware. No other organization or person has the proprietary knowledge or the legal right to write a driver.

2- Drivers are always free from the manufacturer. You never pay for a driver.

Therefore:

Only obtain drivers directly from the hardware manufacturer. If Pinnacle Systems doesn't have a Windows 10 driver for the Dazzle DVC90, nobody else does.

As you can see on the
Dazzle Hardware Drivers page on Pinnacle Systems' website, the Dazzle DVC90 is not supported on Windows 10.

 

Windows update is breaking a certain application

It's not clear how Pinnacle Studio 25 relates to your version number (1)

Suggest you contact Pinnacle and ask it you don't already know.

I've seen references to 14, 15 as well... is your version very old?

Note that some specialist older multimedia software can suffer from latency issues when upgrading to the next Windows build.

 

Loading Pinnacle Studio for Dazzle 2016

When I try loading the Dazzle program I get half way through loading I get a message saying.

The operating system has been upgraded after Studio has

been installed. Some or all of the program's features may features may not

operate correctly. We recommend that you reinstall the software.

The Dazzle program was working OK on my computer for 4 years. I went to Win 10 and it worked OK until I had

a problem with the computer and had to be have Win 10 reinstalled. That is when the problem arouse.

Can someone help me, I just wish we could go back to Win 7
