Windows 10: Pin required but pin dialog doesn’t appear

I uninstalled a program and my pc restarted.Then the log in screen with two options available:Fingerprint and pin. When I put my fingerprint it says “Your PIN is required to sign in”. But then no dialogue appears so I can type my pin.They I press “sign in” and a window appears of my Microsoft account “We’ll send a code to my email address to sign you in”. I press “send code” but I am not receiving any code.I restarted my pc many times but nothing is working g. Please, help! It is a new PC, one week old, and it runs on Windows 11 pro.I don’t know how to fix this

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

I'm Marvin an Independent Advisor, and I will help you with your issue.

Follow these steps.

Step 1. Go to C:\Windows\Service\Profiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\MicrosoftNGC.

Step 2. In the NGC folder delete all the files. To do so you must be logged as Administrator.

These steps will remove your PIN, all you need to do its recreate it again following these steps.

Step 1. Open Settings app by pressing Windows Key + I.

Step 2. When Settings app opens, navigate to Accounts section.

Step 3. From the menu on the left select Sign-in options

Step 4. Click the Add button in the PIN section

Step 5. Enter the desired PIN twice. Once you’re done, click OK to save changes.

PIN at start up

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.
