    My Start

    Content of %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\PhotosAppTile

    What I tried:

    • deleting every Tile* file and adding them back;
    • removing every Tile* from favorites and adding them back (the app tile should be showing favorites);
    • change the setting mentioned above from Favorites to Recent photos;
    • turning Live Tile off and on;
    • resizing the tile.

    As far as I can tell, none of these actions have had any effect whatsoever on the content of %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\PhotosAppTile, but I'm pretty sure that when I was setting everything up some of them (the third one, for instance) caused the deletion of every file in said directory.

    Everything was working great until yesterday, then I remember the Live Tile stopped showing anything some time before receiving the notification of a new Windows 10 update.

    P.S. I've also checked whether an update for Photos was available, but it wasn't. I'm still on version 2020.20100.21005.0
