Windows 10: Photos Legacy

Had some advice from DaveM121 but couldn't send another reply to him.Am trying to resize an image using Photos Legacy Resize Image.I still can't get the right dialogue box with the 3 Best for ... options. This is what I get:

To get that app, please click start menu and type Photos then hit enter

Select Settings and scroll down, you'll see the Photo Legacy, please click on it. And that should give you the Photo Legacy.

My question concerns running "Photos Legacy"with Windows 11.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you click your Start Button and just type photos do you see both the Windows 11 Photos app and the Legacy Photos app listed on the resulting menu?

If not, open the Settings App, then o to Apps - Installed Apps

In the search box in there, type Photos, do you find the Photos app and the Legacy Photos app listed in there?

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
