Windows 10: Periodic buzzing noise in headphones

So recently, im pretty sure after my headset cord was ripped from my port, i noticed that sometimes, not always, a random buzzing noise will happen in my headphones. most of the time its very faint. but sometimes itll get louder, or stop. the volume of it does not change when i change system volume, but if i spin the volume thing on my headset wire, it does change. I believe this is a problem with the headset then, or maybe the port? This does not happen on other devices, such as my xbox, but i do notice on my xbox that randomly when playing a game my audio will become incredibly choppy, almo

Buzzing Noise in Headphones after updating Windows

Hello, if I could get a response that'd be greatly appreciated. I'm still having the problem no matter what solution I try. I tried going back to the previous update, but the buzzing noise came to the previous restore. When I mute, the sound goes away
and other headphones also have this buzzing noise coming from Windows, so it's not a problem with them. The laptop's internal speakers seem to be fine. This buzzing noise happened to me when I updated my old laptop to 1803 as well. I've updated my laptop further,
I'm on version 1809 now. Please help me get rid of this buzzing noise.

 

Buzzing Noise in Headphones when no sound is being played

Here's my results

1. The buzzing doesn't decrease if I lower volume / increase if I raise volume
   
2. My headphones don't have a volume control built-in
3. My headphones don't have a detachable cable
4. I plugged my headphones into my phone and didn't hear any buzzing

After I updated my laptop's Windows 10 to version 1803, a buzzing noise started coming from anything plugged into my headphone jack. My laptop's internal speakers seem to be fine. Please help.
