Performance Monitor will not generate a report

The performance monitor on a new PC with windows 11 home does not produce a report. The PC is a custom built AMD pc which appears to be working fine in all instances. However this feature does not work. It works fine on my other windows 11 device. I have tried a clean install of windows but it does the same, the report options are greyed out and it only produces graphical data. I have ran the DISM commands and scf /scannow via an elevated command prompt and it does not find/fix any issues.I have ran perfmon /report via an elevated command prompt and it returns the error 'An error occured whils

Performance Monitor (Win10) : System Diagnostics report is just the same as System Performance report

    Hi techworker1,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

The System Diagnostics and System Performance reports in Windows 10 are indeed different, although they may appear similar at first glance. The **System Diagnostics** report provides a detailed status of local hardware resources, system response times, and processes on your computer, along with system information and configuration data. It includes suggestions for ways to maximize performance and streamline system operations.

On the other hand, the System Performance report is more focused on providing a real-time overview of the system's performance, including aspects like CPU, disk, network, and memory usage.

If you're finding that the reports generated from both the System Diagnostics and System Performance seem identical, it could be due to a lack of issues detected by the diagnostics. However, it's also possible that there might be a glitch or a configuration issue causing this behavior.

Windows 10 Home should support both types of reports without any restrictions. If you suspect that the diagnostics are not being run correctly, you might want to ensure that the Performance Monitor is properly configured or consider resetting its settings.

    Your Sincerely
