    PCI EXPRESS ROOT COMPLEX DRIVER


    hello,So I ran a scan to see what drivers needed to be updated and it is saying my PCI express root complex driver is from 2006 and it says there is a 2020 version available. I did try update driver in win 11 device manager but it says I have the latest driver. The program is advanced driver updater. I don't want to do the update if it can cause issues with my PC. 2006 seems very old though.

    After I downloaded the "PCI Express Root Complex" update, my computer really got screwed up. Is it really necessary to update this?

    If this update already caused an issue to your PC I don't recommend that you update it. Sometimes latest driver from Windows updates can cause a problem but it mostly depends on the device. I suggest that you should wait for another PCI Express Root Complex
    update in the future that doesn't have conflict or issue with your device.

    Just curious how is it that you found out that the device installed on the PCI Express Root Complex is the drop / fall sensor, I'm having the same issue and have no clue how to determine what is this "unknown device" that installed on the PCI Express Root
    Complex.
