Windows 10: PC restarts and BSOD after installing WiFi drivers, how do I uninstall the drivers from...

I bought a new pc and it said I had to install wifi drivers to continue set up. After they were installed it told me to reboot but the screen stayed black even though the pc is running. Is there a way to fix this from safe mode?

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Crossfire broke after OMEGA driver install

I would suggest uninstalling your older drivers using the regular uninstall function in the Control Panel, restarting, then use the older DriverSweeper 3.2.0 (AMD and NVIDIA video drivers only) to clear out any leftover files, restart again, then re-installing 14.12.

 

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.
