    my screen goes black randomly after rebooting and the light on my motherboard goes red after i manually reboot it.

    yesterday it did it again but i was watching a video and i had to reboot for installing an application and then when i rebooted it i went to youtube played the video and my screen went all black with a sound repeating itself and its arround 0.5s per sound

    PC randomly reboots for no reason

    Hello,

    my PC randomly reboots for no apparent reason for a few days now. It doesn't freeze, it doesn't say "Rebooting Windows" or whatever, it just goes straight to black and then I see the BIOS message and it starts just like nothing happened.

    I'm running Windows 10, Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.844). I ran the V2 log collector 1.11, the date is attached to this post.

    I would appreciate some guidance on how to identify and fix the problem. Thanks!

    Try turning off automatic restart on system failure and see if it is giving a blue-screen before it reboots. That might at least give you an error message or code so you can start your troubleshooting from there. Otherwise it is just a shot in the dark. It could be bad RAM, bad HDD, bad ODD, a bad cable somewhere, PSU dying, motherboard dying, a software issue and the list goes on...

    I don't think he ever said it reboots during the boot process. It just randomly reboots while the computer is running.
