    Pc keeps restarting then updating when shutdown


    Hi I'm not that tech savvy but recently I been having a issue with my windows 10 pc. Before when there were updates I would keep shutting down my pc WITHOUT updating till it finally said shutown and update and I had no choice but now everytime I have a update and go to shutdown without installing. The pc restarts and installs them this is the 2nd time in 2 weeks. No idea what's causing this issue. And the reason I wait so long to update is cause there always seems to be problems with updates so I prolong them as long as I can. Can anyone explain if this is normal or to why this is happening

    My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

    Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
    Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

    Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
    Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

    Cannot Shutdown or Restart W8.1

    First update pack was successful and I can shutdown and restart normally.
