PC Boots to BIOS first, then Windows

    Hi MJB2018

Your SSD needs to be top of the Boot order list . . .

In BIOS/UEFI what is SATA Mode set to?

Is BIOS set to UEFI or legacy mode?

IF you have a CSM setting, is that enabled or disabled?

After restart, Windows 11 keeps booting into BIOS

    Hi,

I've been on Windows 11 for a few weeks now. I have ASUS bios version 3602 x64.

Last night, my PC restarted due to some Windows update, but in the morning it was in BIOS. Exiting BIOS or saving just boots it back into BIOS. I tried this at least 10 times. At this point, CSM was disabled and Secure Boot was on Other OS. No boot devices were in the list under Boot Option Priorities or Boot Override.

I tried turning on CSM. The m2 ssd I have my OS on showed up. When I clicked it, I got a black screen saying "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key."

I tried putting Secure Boot on Windows UEFI mode, that didn't work either. Please advise.

Pc keeps restarting in the bios after i turned off CSM in order to enable safe boot

Stuck in UEFI loop if CSM is off

I was reading on BIOS stuff cause my PC always boots to the wrong screen and a suggestion to turn CSM off fixed that but introduced a UEFI loop (every time it closes, it opens again instead of booting the system). I turned CSM back on in order to be able to boot but does anyone know why UEFI won't work?
