Since couple of days, as soon as I start a game and the fans pick up speed, the PC crashes and reboots itself. The GPU NVIDIA RTX 3080 was exchanged recently, as this was thought to be the issue, but apparently it is not. I have a Dell Desktop 8950, with Win 11. I tried a lot of tests, a clean driver installation, but nothing has been working so far. This is the minidump analysisPC keeps crashing with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION 133 when gaming :DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION 133 The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL or above. 2. DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133) Keeps Occurring

Hi, my son's PC keeps freezing and crashing. Most often it's a 133 DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, but sometimes other error codes too. I don't have the debug tools etc to analyse it.

Can anybody help diagnose what's going wrong please or offer advice? Any help would be much appreciated.

    DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133)

    Hi there,

I keep getting the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133). I ran the minidump file through WinDbg, but I don't know how to proceed from there, and I was hoping that someone could help me.

I've been trying to fix this for a bit, so I've been going down a list of possible fixes for watchdog violations and for "\Driver\WUDFRd failed to load." Among the things I've done, I've checked for updates (everything seems to be up to date), I've tried adjusting Windows Driver Foundation (but I couldn't locate it), I've reinstalled all the USB controllers, and I even reset the PC.

    I would appreciate any help!!

    Here's snip from WinDbg:

    DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133); I need help with minidump

Hello. My pc recently started to crash with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133).

I have tried couple of things to resolve this, but the error keeps occuring.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    System:

    i5-13600kf, Nvidia 4070ti, Gigabyte b760m aorus elite, micron crucial ddr5 5600 16g*2, gold p31 1tb, 750w gold power. Windows 11 Edu.

    Error message:

Error happened when I was playing videos games. Time to error from starting the game varies from 5min to 1 hour. The games are "Mount and Blade 2" and "Cyberpunk 2077". When the error occurs, the monitors I use lose signal and are blacked out, but I hear the game keep playing. After a short period (give or take 1 minute.) the system automatically shuts down and reboot. Other softwares that stress graphic card (OCCT, Furmark) does not seem to crash PC. No failures occurs when just using the pc.

    DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133)

The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL

    or above.

    Arguments:

Arg1: 0000000000000001, The system cumulatively spent an extended period of time at

    DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.

Arg2: 0000000000001e00, The watchdog period (in ticks).

additional information regarding the cumulative timeout

    Arg4: 0000000000000000

    I have tried:

    Installing latest Window updates.

    Erasing third party vaccines.

Using sfcscannow and related commands to restore.

Use DDU to do a clean graphic driver install to the latest verison and various previous versions.

    Installing drivers/firmware provided by manufacturers.

    Updated BIOS to latest version.

For anyone interested, here are the minidumps:

    Thank you in advance.
