Windows 10: PC freezes after tabbing out/closing games.

As of two days or so ago my pc completely freezes when tabbing out of full screen and borderless windowed games. It feels like it began after I was messing around with making my tv my main monitor and switching it back and forth. All of the screens freeze and I get no responsiveness from my mouse/keyboard. I can still hear the game/discord but my mic stops working too, which is so weird. I updated my graphics drivers, double checked settings in nvidia control panel/windows settings, and now I don't know what else to. If someone can give me a start on what I can do, I would deeply appreciate it

I understand that you're having problems with your PC freezing after closing a game.

What I would do in this type of situation is to first simply observe task performance tab (2nd icon on the left) and see if I get a spike in areas like CPU, DISK, GPU, and RAM. I recommend to that and let us know what you've observed.

I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R keys, opens the Run Command.
• Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.
• Under General Tab, select Tabs.
• Select if the Warn me when closing the multiple tabs is
  checked.
