Windows 10: PC crash after computer comes out of sleep mode.

I am very new to PC's so i apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge here. When my pc comes out from sleep mode i get the blue screen crash and then my PC restarts immediately with no issues. Other then that its fine i have not had any problems with this running any games or programs. I tried to disable fast start like some guides said online but to no avail the issue is still happening. I also looked online and found out the event viewer displays critical and error messages. After learning this i found my critical in the event viewer. It said event 41, Kernel-Power with the General descri

open the desktop from sleep mode

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• How are trying to start the computer from the sleep mode?
• Since from when are you facing this issue?
• Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
• Are you able to shut down or restart the machine?
• What happens when you try to come out of Sleep mode?

I would suggest you to force shutdown the computer and start the computer and check what happens.

If you are able to login to normal mode then follow the below steps to restore the power setting/plan to default.

• Press Windows + X keys, and select the option
  Control Panel.
• Click on the Power Options icon.
• Click on Change plan settings.
• Select the option “Restore default settings for this plan”.

Computer won't come out of sleep

Hi,

There are different factors that can contribute as to why after the Windows 10 creators update was installed on your computer it no longer comes out of sleep mode automatically anymore. One possible reason for this is the power settings need to be reconfigured.
Since you already attempted the suggested steps by Andre Da Costa, we would like to confirm if you already checked the suggested link by Ugo Lopez in the previous post? If you have already completed the steps, kindly advice us what were the results and if
there were any error messages that showed up?

Issues coming out of sleep mode

My laptop (Thinkpad T14 AMD Gen 1) has had issues in sleep mode ever since the Windows 11 Update. Issues include:

• Not coming out of sleep mode and I have to hold the power button to reboot
  
• Locking up on the face recognition screen for 60+ seconds, then getting the blue screen of death before finally rebooting OK
  
• Coming out of sleep mode having all my programs shut down
  
• Not recognizing my USB mouse / keyboard coming out of sleep mode.
  

Any ideas? Rebooting every time and loading up all my work twice a day is very frustrating.
