Windows 10: outlook and onedrive have been crippled

A few days ago, my HP laptop experienced "Black Screen" big time. I couldn't get to Windows sign in at all. Believe I tried every thing suggested. Eventually I was able to get to HP diagnostic and recovery pages. Eventually I was able to recover Windows although most of data and apps etc were lost. I wasn't worried too much as most of all the critical data was in the cloud, OneDrive or Outlook. My work Outlook things seemed fine, but my personal Onedrive has gone to meltdown it seems. When I go to Onedrive-Personal in File Explorer and check Properties, I'm using just under 600mb well

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.

OneDrive - Bait and switch (but to what?)

i was about to add that ... i never used OneDrive, since i got Google Drive previously i used Dropbox due to their offer when i bought a HTC One X
