Opera GX app not showing in "Notification from apps and other senders"

HiI recently upgraded to Win11 and I am trying to set up my pc again, specifically Opera GX profiles for the task bar, in Win10 I had 3 different profiles and corresponding icons to load previous browser sessions for each. Windows notifications settings doesn't even show Opera GX app so I cant create these profile in the task bar - which is needed to accept creating new profile icons for use. I have searched around trying to find answers, but I am stuck with this issue going forward.Does anyone know a workaround?

    :)

  2. Adding Apps to the Notification app senders list

In my windows 10 notification and action center settings app senders list I don't see mail among the list. How can I add it to the notification list to get email notifications in my action center.

  3. Turn On or Off Notifications from Apps and Senders in Windows 10

Hi, I have isolated apps missing from the 'get notifications from these senders' list. Most apps are listed under here so they can be turned on or off but things like cortana and Facebook are missing. Any ideas or fixes that can be run and downtown break other things? I'm mainly wanting cortana to be available in the list, she works fine in start menu and I do have tidbits switched on but she just not show in the action center

    Thanks, Wayne

  4. Opera GX app not showing in "Notification from apps and other senders"

    Opera GX internet browser installed

    Hello,

I have Microsoft Family Safety (MSFS) with all the content and download controls enabled. For example my son can only use the Edge browser, and in the App and Game Limits section of the MSFS site, I can see all the various browsers blocked, including Opera.

But he was still able to download "Opera GX Internet Browser". This appears to be a browser for gamers, but I assume it's also a fully-functional browser where he can hit any website he likes without MSFS blocking content.

So can MS either 1) add Opera GX to the default list of blocked browsers, or 2) tell me that Opera GX is not a fully-functional browser, or is somehow controlled by MSFS, and I shouldn't worry about my son visiting bad sites.

    Thanks
