    Open/Save and other dialogues takes many seconds to open on otherwise responsive machine.


    My issueThe dialogues to open or save files are taking a few seconds to open. For example, attempting to save an image file in regular Paint, it can take upwards of 10 seconds to actually open the dialogue, asking where to save the file. The same happens in GIMP, sometimes also Chrome. There are times where even the calculator takes a bit of time to open, but I feel like that's unrelated.I do not have any network drives attached anymore, as well as FTP connections.Something I've noticed is that if I move my cursor to roughly where the new dialogue is supposed to be, the cursor changes to the

    Save dialogue opening on wrong monitor


    I have two monitors and I'm using the GIMP image editor. When I open the save dialogue, it comes up on the second monitor which is not ideal. Is this a fault in GIMP or Windows?

    Open/Open Folder/View downloads dialogue in Edge

    I have 2 machines with windows 10 installed. One is a clean install while the other is an upgrade from Windows 7. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the default app on both machines for a pdf file. When I download a pdf file in Edge on the clean install machine
    I get a Save/Save as/Cancel dialogue in Edge. When I download the same file on the upgraded machine I get a Open/Open Folder/ View downloads dialogue in Edge. I want the clean install machine to behave like the upgraded machine and display a Open/Open Folder/
    View downloads dialogue. I cannot find any information on this topic. If anyone knows how to change this behaviour it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know what I need to do.

    I can't open a saved file in file explorer. Instead it open another save as dialogue box.

    I open file explorer in windows 10 and when I click on any file I have saved or download it won't open in its corresponding destination like windows or powerpoint etc. Instead it opens up a save as dialogue box for me to save it, when I actually asked
    it to be opened not saved. i even tried to right click and it does the same thing.
