Windows 10: OneDrive does not open in my Citrix Persistent VDI

Recently some of the users in our organization have been facing the issue where there onedrive does not start even with admin credentials. Onedrive application works fine on web version and on Azure VDI. The issue was not there previously and is observed from past few days only. Most of the user machines are on windows 11 22H2 persistent version. It works fine for some of the users and only some are facing this issue. I have also dropped the question to citrix community looking for possible answers from microsoft community too. Thanks in advance.

windows 10 media player keeps trying to open citrix apps

Hello,

To specify which program or app opens Citrix files, please follow the steps below:

• Right-click the individual Citrix file.
• Click Open with.
• Choose what application you want to use to open the Citrix file.

You may also change the default file type automatically. Here are the steps:

• Click Start > Settings > System > Default apps > Choose default apps by file type.
  
• Look for the Citrix receiver and choose an application.

OS license requirement for VDI

Hi,

We are deploying a VDI on Citrix. Planning to use Windows 10 / 11 as operating system.

We currently have M365 Business premium subscription, which comes with Windows for Business entitlement. Would this license be enough or do we need additional licenses for Operating system on VDI.

App on Citrix receiver not displaying properly since upgrade to Windows 10

• Did you update the Citrix App after upgrading to Windows 10?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Check for latest update of Citrix App on Windows Store.
• Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps.
