Windows 10: OneDrive Can't Sync - Your IT department doesn't allow you to sync files - 0x8004deea

I work across two separate companies as an IT contractor and used to sync both my Onedrives but for last month I get an error saying I can't sync to the second onedrive.


I've now built a brand new Windows 10 2004 PC, installed latest updates and still get the same error.

OneDrive client is 20.143.0716.0003


I am global administrator in both tenancies and know I haven't enabled any blocks to stop this syncing, but can't see what is causing this?

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

E51 Groups doesn`t sync

Got problem. Tryin to sync my groups. I`ve created them on my mob. phone, added contacts to them, after sync theese groups don`t appear in my ovi contacts. What do i have to do with this to fix it?

 

OneDrive Placeholders are coming back, now called On-Demand Sync




"At Ignite 2016, Microsoft has just announced that it is bringing Placeholders back to OneDrive on Windows 10. Now, they are not called Placeholders anymore — Microsoft is renaming the feature to “On-Demand Sync” which makes a lot more sense than “Placeholders”.

The company demoed this feature at Microsoft Ignite today, and it works just like it used to previously. As you can see in the screenshot above, the files stored in OneDrive weighed in around 9GB, but the actual size on disk was only around 3MB which is really neat. Of course, this feature isn’t anything new as it was available back in the Windows 8 days. However, Microsoft removed the feature with Windows 10, and after lots of waiting, they are finally coming back.

In case you are not familiar with OneDrive Placeholders, it’s a pretty neat feature which lets you see all of your OneDrive files on your computer — but they are not actually downloaded on your PC. When you open them, OneDrive will download the files on-demand, saving your local space which is really useful, especially if you have a PC that doesn’t have a lot of storage.

While Microsoft didn’t announce when exactly On-Demand Sync will be available to OneDrive users, we suspect it will be available with Windows 10 Redstone 2 — which is expected to arrive early next year. "
