Windows 10: One of my onenote folders in onedrive displays like a onenote file. I cant see the files...

One of my onenote folders in onedrive displays like a onenote file. I cant see the files within it anymore. I can still open the files through “recents.” How do I get the folder to act like a folder again? I’ve lost the ability to move files out of the folder, or create new ones, or delete old ones.

OneNote cannot connect to OneDrive


Windows 7 - No problem, I get a list of all my OneDrive folders for Web Locations.
Windows 10 - Doesn't connect me logged into OneDrive and I cannot select a location. *Mad
Note however, *Eek that if I follow the "Microsoft OneDrive" hyperlink right after the words "Web Location", it DOES open the OneDrive folder list automatically in a separate window, but that doesn't get me choice of locations on this screen so that I can choose a location. What's missing here? *Confused




My work around for now is to keep switching back to Win7 to use OneNote there when I need to create new notebooks on OneDrive.

 

OneNote and OneDrive issue

I am having issues syncing my OneNote documents with OneDrive, and opening any OneNote files using OneDrive app on my Nokia Lumia 720.



When I try to sync the files (usin OneNote app) with OneDrive it doesn't sync but says "OneNote can't sync your personal notes with SkyDrive because there is no data connection. Try again later". I do have data connection and have no issues browsing online,
uploading photos to OneDrive etc.



I also cannot open any OneNote files in my OneDrive when using the OneDrive app on my phone. I can see the files but when opening, well, that's really only thing it says, opening... just hang there. I have no issues opening Word or Excel files using the
app. Just the OneNote files.



Any thoughts?

 

How to include OneNote in SendTo Context Menu in Windows 10

I have successfully added Evernote, OneDrive, etc. to the SendTo menu but was not successful for OneNote.

The steps I have taken are:

• 
  Make a shortcut of your folder on the desktop
  
• 
  Open the run window - WIN+R
  
• 
  Type shell:sendto into the run box. Then OK. That opens the sendto folder.
  
• 
  Drag your shortcut from the desktop into the sendto folder. Close the folder
  

I was able to perform the first 3 steps and was also able to drag the shortcut from the desktop into the sendto folder. However, when I right clicked a file and then Send to, I was not able to see the OneNote listed in the menu. (I can see OneNote, however,
listed in the place where I dragged the OneNote shortcut to.

Any idea why this is so?
