Windows 10: On wifi but everywhere else says I'm not

So I was logging onto my laptop today and I tried to get on a game but it said my computer didn’t have wifi. But my computer said I clearly was. I ran a troubleshooter and it said everything was ok so I tried again. Still nothing. “Maybe it’s just this app?” I thought. But apparently it’s not just this app. Every website or app I went to said I wasn’t connected but my laptop said I’m okay. I tried restarting my internet adapter through the troubleshooter and it didn’t work. I even ended up doing a network reset on my computer and I still have the same problem! And this doesn’t seem like a pers

Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

To resolve your concern about the error message you're encountering which says
WiFi doesn't have valid IP configuration, we suggest for you to follow these steps and see if it helps:

• Hold down the Shift key.
• Perform a shutdown from the Start menu.
• Don't let go of the Shift key until your laptop is off.

Understanding M.2 PCIe WiFi Adapter in ASUS Prime H770-PLUS D4 Mobo

Posts #2, 4 and 7 suggested going with the standard full size PCIe network adapter card. Just saying it might be something to consider.
