Windows 10: OLE archive is corrupted in windows\installer

Good day.

During avast antivirus scan I received in log file many files of "OLE archive is corrupted" and "OLE archive is corrupted".
Is it safe to delete these files ?. If yes, should I use windows delete or special utility ?.

After system reset on windows 10 I downloaded software for HDHomerun TV tuner . when I try to run or launch it I get an error "the archive is corrupted" what is going on?

If what I read about older Windows versions (the only ones for which I can find discussions of this error, and the CAB corrupted error which I believe you may also have wanted to mention, instead of "OLE archive is corrupted" twice), you should try using the system file checker to see if it can find and fix damaged files on your system. The syntax is sfc /scannow, and it must be run at an administrative command prompt to work (click Windows key-X on your keyboard, then select "Command Prompt (Admin)" from the resulting pop-up menu to open the proper window in which to run the command). If that fails, it may be time to try DISM to conduct repairs instead. Try sfc and let us know what happens,

Thank for kind response, I did sfc , got Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. sfc report attached.
My question : is it safe to delete corrupted files reported by avsat ?.

Should be. If you're concerned about losing anything important, make a copy to a USB stick or another drive. Here's a thought, though: you could try running chkdsk C: /f (assuming that's the affected drive) and see if it can fix and recover any of these damaged files.
