Windows 10: Old account locked out

I had an account which I suspected had a hacker on, so I locked my own account and so I am locked out of my gaming pc only account and I am unable to get back in, its been over a year now with no luck is there a way for Microsoft to delete an old account?

Steve, All you need is a Windows 10 installation USB in order to use the procedure given in post #2. If you do not have one of them then you will need to take your computer to somebody who does. The procedure does not entail any use of the MSAccount reset / old mobile number / email reset. Denis

 

Restore local account ?

I would suggest you to check if your old account is displayed in the list of Manage Accounts.

Follow the below steps to check:

• Right click on the Start button and select
  Control Panel.
• Click on the User Accounts.
• Click on Manage Accounts and check if you are able to view your old account.

If you’re old account is not present in the Manage Accounts list then, you may not be able to recover the old account. If you’re old account is present in the Manage Accounts list then you can find that account on the bottom left
corner on the Lock screen.

Remove account
