Windows 10: OCR not working in microsoft photos

I'm on win11 and latest version of microsoft photos 2024.11120.5010.0 used to use ocr in it image to text but after formatting my laptop suddenly it not anymore i searched alot before posting this but no result* Moved from Community Center

Free OCR on that suggested list is online so just save in your Browser favourites same as anything else.

If it's an install file just save that somewhere, HDD, DVD, USB key etc.

Windows Fax and Scan does not have built in OCR. You need a third party application for that functionality.

Hello

I have a HP Officejet all in one 6500APlus Printer. The printer option works perfectly, the "Scan" option does not. Alert on printer screen shows HP cannot detect the OCR software. (I have Windows 10-Microsoft Edge). Scanning and updating my printer everything
is functiona lall software installed, nothing missing.Called HP support did a remote fix and "Scan" worked perfectly. Proceeded to do another scan later,ALERT OCR cannot be detected! What's up with that.? My remote session was almost an hour to initialize
the OCR software. How can it stop working after one scan?

On printer screen it shows my Desktop number under that it shows no computer listed when I click on no computer listed it shows WINDOWS XP and WINDOWS 7 I do not have any of these windows I have Windows 10/ I'm so confused right now
