Windows 10: NVIDIA GPU error code 43

Hello,My laptop ThinkPad P14s Gen 3, windows 10 has an Intel Iris GPU and an NVIDIA T550 GPU. The NVIDIA GPU appears in device manager, but does not operate or appear in task manager. In device manager it is showing error code 43. This possibly coincided with a BIOS update, but I do not know exactly when this started.I have tried: Disabling and re enabling the GPU nothing changed Updating the drivers through GeForce it doesn't recognize I have an NVIDIA GPU Updating the drivers manually the error goes away but it doesn't function and upon restart the error reappears Installing older dr

Persistent NVIDIA GPU Issue with Code 43 on Windows 11

Despite the GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q Design) being recognized in the BIOS and listed in Device Manager, it does not appear in Task Manager. As a result, my system defaults to using the integrated Intel(R) UHD Graphics.
In Device Manager, next to the driver, a Code 43 error is reported with the message 'The device has reported a problem and has been stopped.' Additionally, the NVIDIA Control Panel does not launch.

Here's a brief summary of the steps I've already attempted, unfortunately without success:

1. Complete uninstallation of NVIDIA drivers in Safe Mode
   
2. Updating drivers directly from NVIDIA's website
   
3. Installing drivers through NVIDIA GeForce Experience
   
4. Reinstalling the NVIDIA Control Panel
   
5. Restarting NVIDIA Display Container LS from Services
   

Here are the specifications of my laptop:

• MSI Prestige 15 A10SC
  
• Intel Core i7-10710U
  
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design
  
• 16 GB RAM
  
• 512 GB SSD

I believe this is not a hardware problem.

 

Windows 10 / Nvidia 1030 - Code 43

After a Windows (Win 10 Home) update yesterday afternoon my son's PC reported the problem shown in the image below.




The result of this means he cannot play the very popular "Fortnite" game which reports this error.





Assuming the problem is caused by either the Windows Update or a driver update have done the following;

• Re-installed the latest Nvidia Driver. This didn't fix the problem.
• Installed the previous set of Nvida Drivers. This didn't fix the problem.
• Via the Control Panel / Device Manager I disabled and enabled the device. This didn't fix the problem.
• Via the Control Panel / Device Manager I used the "update driver" feature. This didn't fix the problem.
• I did a system restore to the day before. This did not complete with Windows reporting the Anti Virus software may have prevented the process. Default Windows Defender is the AV.
• I disabled the AV and tried system restore again. This didn't fix the problem.

In all other areas the system is functioning fine although my son said he had low FPS on Rainbow Six Siege which he tried to play when Fortnite wouldn't launch.

The PC is just over a week old so I am doubtful of any hardware issues with no other symptoms or errors showing.

So...any ideas or suggestions for next steps please?

 

Problem with gpu showing error code 43

My nvidia gpu is not working and showing error code 43 i have tried all the possible solutions but it didn't work

I have HP victus 15

8gb ram

Amd ryzen 5600h

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050ti 4gb
