Windows 10: npsvctrig

I've researched on this for weeks now. My computer keeps crashing, and when viewing the event viewer it always says "File System Filter 'npsvctrig' 10.0, ‎2025‎-‎01‎-‎05T21:41:12.000000000Z has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager." right before a critical level event. I have replaced my thermal paste, the most common solution to this crash with others, and it has still not fixed it. Is there any true solution to this? I have been thinking of doing a factory reset, but if it is a hardware issue, I don't see a

Here are the possible causes for the blue screen error:

• Faulty hardware
  
• Corrupted software/driver
  
• Software conflicts
  

For us to isolate the issue, were there any changes made to your computer prior to this issue(e.g. Windows update)?

In the meantime, we suggest booting your computer in Safe Mode to check if the default settings and basic device
drivers are not causing the issue.

A window 10 driver "npsvctrig"

I have daily crashes (Event ID:41). Always right before the crash, I have an Event ID: 6 about a driver "npsvctrig" which means "Net Pipe Service Trigger". Does anyone know what this is, what it does and how to fix it?

A window 10 driver "npsvctrig"

My computer underwent a fairly major update but I can't locate the date. Since then I always get an Event ID: 6 npsvctrig (Named Pipe Services Trigger)1 second before crash and then Event ID: 172 and 508 immediately after the Event ID: 41. I know npsvctrig
is a driver in C:\windows\system 32|drivers and is a .sys file driver. I cannot find any information about this driver. The computer never writes a crash dump so I can't troubleshoot with a debugger. And Reliability Monitor reveals nothing to my untrained
eye. The computer used to BSOD instantly but now black screens for about 30 seconds and then shuts down.



If I have a hardware problem it doesn't show in the PC tools diagnostics built into windows. Disk drives show ok in Device Manager and Crystal Disk. My usb drive runs warm at times (air flow temp 54 degrees C max).

I have performed numerous clean boots to no avail. Any ideas?
